They watched Him go

Jesus promise   John 14:1-3

Jesus warning Matthew 24:4, 5, 23-25

His departure and the promise  Acts 1:9-11

  • A cloud received Him
  • The same Jesus will come back in the same way they saw Him go

When he comes:

 1. Everyone living will see Him
Revelation 1:7
Matthew 24:27, 30

2. Everyone living will hear it
Matthew 24:31

3. All the angels will be with Him
Matthew 25:31
Luke 9:26    Matthew 28:2-4, Revelation 5:11

4. The righteous dead will be raised
1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17

5. The righteous living will be changed
1 Corinthians 15:51-54
Phillipians 3:20, 21
1 John 3:2, 3

6. Many will be caught unprepared
1 Thessalonians 5:1-4
Matthew 24:36-44

7. It will be a day of great joy to those who have accepted him as Saviour
Hebrews 9:28
